(by S. Mulia in Global Style) In this hard world, may be we can be different by showing a gentle touch. We love to see the dark and demonic side of others. Life is tough, after all, so we get our kicks where we can. It's hard to navigate the competitive workplace where kissing up to the boss is the way to the top (as well as making sure to put others down at every opportunity). Well, it sure make life more interesting. But they are still required to show their serious side when they use the rigid jackets and classic (read boring) colors of gray and black that dominate working womes's fashion collections. Not to mention the black stocking and formal shoes. Men and women face the same struggles in the workplace, but instead of playing hardball with the men in suits, soften things up a bit. Think out of the box and take things gently. Men, too, can polish up their rough edges; nobody said you have to be toughie all the time, only when the situation calls for it. Women, thankfully, have taken their place front and center in the office. They are in positions of leadership, changing the face of the workplace in the process.
